Oyster Sauce Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • Boiled rice 3 cups
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Spring onions chopped, 1/2 cup
  • Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
  • Onion 1, chopped
  • Green bell pepper 1, finely chopped
  • Carrots 2, finely chopped
  • Blanched spinach (or peas) 1/2 cup
  • Oyster sauce 3 tbsp
  • Soy sauce 3 tbsp
  • Chili sauce as needed (optional)

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in a wok and add garlic and spring onions.
  2. Sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add chopped onion and fry until translucent.
  4. Add carrot and bell peppers on high flame and sauté until vibrant in colour.
  5. Now add rice, oyster sauce and soy sauce and chili sauce.
  6. Mix well on high flame and add blanched spinach and mix.
  7. Serve immediately.
  8. Enjoy!
