Chicken Tikka with yellow Rice and Garden Chutney

Ingredients
Ingredients For Chicken Marinade:
1 Chicken cut into 4 tikka pieces
Shan/National Tikka Masala 1 pack
Garlic Paste 1 teaspoon
Ginger Paste 1 teaspoon
Oil 1 tablespoon
Tomatoes chopped 2 Big
Coal (for smoke) 1 small piece
Ingredients For rice:
Bay leaf 1
Cinnamon stick 1
Cloves 4-5
Small green cardamom 3
Star anise 2
Black peppercorns 7-8
Salt 1 teaspoon
Turmeric or saffron 1/4 teaspoon
Ingredients for Garden Tomato Chutney
Mint 3 tablespoons
Coriander 2 tablespoons
Green chilies 2
Tomatoes 5-6
Salt (to taste)
Zeera powder (to taste)
Instructions
Slightly pound the pieces of chicken to flatten it and apply small cuts all over.
Mix tikka masala, ginger paste, garlic paste and oil by rubbing them all over the chicken.
Cut tomatoes into big chunks.
Put tomatoes and chicken in a pot over medium heat and allow to steam roast until fully done.
Boil the rice with basil leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom, star anise, black peppercorns, salt and turmeric or saffron.
Drain the rice and put on steam (dum).
Heat the coal over fire.
Place the coal inside the pot with the chicken over a small aluminum foil piece. Add 1 tsp oil and cover instantly. Allow to smoke for a few minutes. Dish out and serve.
To prepare the chutney, Coarsely chop the ingredients in a chopper. Transfer to a bowl and serve. Enjoy.
