Chutney Alu Sabzi

Ingredients

  • Fresh mint leaves 2 handfuls
  • Fresh coriander 1 handful
  • Green chilies 2-3 or to taste
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Hard boiled potatoes 500-700 grams
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 3/4 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Green chilies for garnishing

Preparation

  1. Blend together mint, coriander, green chilies and yogurt into a smooth paste. Chutmey sauce is ready. Keep aside.
  2. In a pot l, heat oil and add cumin seeds.
  3. Allow to crackle and add potatoes. Saute for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add salt, cumin powder and turmeric powder. Saute for 2-3 minutes and add the chutney sauce.
  5. Cook on medium flame or high if you don’t bother cilurdled yogurt, until the water has evaporated.
  6. Garnish with chilies and serve with fresh roti.
  7. Enjoy!
