Preparation

  1. Prepare dough by adding all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix and add oil.
  2. Without mixing the oil, add luke warm water as needed to form a soft dough. Knead the dough for 7-10 minutes or until smooth.
  3. Cover and allow to rise until doubled in size.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Add oil to a sauce pan. To this add onion, ginger and garlic, green chilies, bell pepper and saute for a few minutes until onions are soft.
  5. Add shredded chicken, salt, black pepper, paprika powder and soy sauce and saute for 2 minutes.
  6. In a cup mix milk and corn flour and add to the chicken. Cook on low until the corn flour thickens. Filling is ready.
  7. Deflate the dough and roll into 1/2 cm thick sheet.
  8. Oil your baking pan. I used 10 inch pan.
  9. Place the dough in the pan and arrange properly. Use fork to poke holes in the dough.
  10. Apply pizza sauce and spread chicken filling on top.
  11. Arrange sliced bell pepper on top.
  12. Whisk egg and salt and pour on top (best alternative to cheese).
  13. Oven: Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10-12 minutes.
  14. Stovetop: Heat tawa o  medium flame until super hot. Now turn the flame to lowest possible setting (dum wala flame) and place the pizza on tawa. Cover with a frying pan and bake on lowesst flame for 20-25 minutes.
  15. Enjoy!
