Sweet Potato Paratha

Ingredients

  • Sweet potatoes 2, medium size
  • Wheat flour 2 cups
  • Fresh coriander 3 tbsp, chopped
  • Fresh green chilies 1-2 chopped
  • Salt 1.5 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala 3/4 tsp
  • Dry mango powder (Amchur) 1 tsp
  • Dried fenugreek 1 tsp
  • Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • Clarified Butter (Desi ghee) as needed

Preparation

  1. Boil the sweet potatoes. Peel and mash.
  2. Add all the ingredients to the mashed sweet potatoes and mix.
  3. Lastly add wheat flour and knead into a dough. You can add more wheat flour if needed.
  4. Make the dough balls and roll them flat.
  5. Cook the paratha on tawa using desi ghee.
  6. Enjoy with yogurt.
