Gobhi Paratha (Cauliflower Paratha) Stuffing

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower 1 small head
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger chopped 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder to taste
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1/4 tsp
  • Chopped fresh coriander 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 1-2, chopped

Preparation

  1. Grate the cauliflower head into fine grains using a manual grater or an electric chopper.
  2. In a frying pan, add oil and sauté ginger and garlic paste on low flame to avoid the spluttering.
  3. Add the grated cauliflower, chopped ginger, salt, red chili, turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder and cumin powder.
  4. Cover and cook on low flame for 5-8 minutes until the cauliflower is cooked.
  5. Now turn the flame to medium and stir fry until all the moisture has evaporated

Instructions

  • Cover and cook on low flame for 5-8 minutes until the cauliflower is cooked.
  • Now turn the flame to medium and stir fry until all the moisture has evaporated
