Make and Freeze Multivitamin Kebabs

Ingredients

  • Chicken mince 1 kg
  • Fresh Coriander 2 handfuls, roughly chopped
  • Green chili 1-2 optional
  • Fresh garlic cloves 7
  • Fresh ginger 2 inch piece, roughly chopped
  • Spring onions 4-5
  • Red bell pepper 1/2
  • Yellow bell pepper 1/2
  • Green bell pepper 1/2
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander powder 4 tsp
  • Cumin powder 2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Sumac 1 tsp (you can skip it if you don’t have it)
  • Paprika powder 3 tsp
  • Tomato paste 1 tbsp
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice of 1/2 lemon

Preparation

  1. In a chopper add fresh coriander, green chili (if your kids like spicy food), spring onion, ginger and garlic and chop. Take out in a mixing bowl.
  2. Next add the bell peppers and chop finely.
  3. Now transfer the chopped bell peppers to a muslin cloth and squeeze out all the liquid from the bell peppers and transfer the bell peppers to the mixing bowl.
  4. Add salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, black pepper powder, sumac, paprika powder, tomato paste, oil and lemon.
  5. Mix well and taste. Adjust the seasoning if needed.
  6. Lastly, add the chicken mince and mix well. Knead for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Oil your hands and shape into kebabs.
  8. Store in the freezer. You can air fry as well as shallow fry.
  9. Make burgers for kids lunchbox. Enjoy!
