Mooli Patta Stuffed Paratha (Radish Leaves Paratha)

Ingredients

  • Fresh coriander or parsley 2 handfuls
  • Fresh mint 2 handfuls
  • Radish leaves 1 big bunch
  • Spring onions 1 big bunch
  • Green chilies 2-3 or to taste
  • Salt 1/2 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsp
  • Wheat dough balls 6
  • Oil as needed

Preparation

  1. Wash all the leaves and drain all the water using a salad spinner. Alternatively, pat them dry with kitchen towel. No water is allowed in this recipe 🙂
  2. Chop fresh coriander, fresh mint, radish leaves, spring onions and green chilies in a chopper without adding water.
  3. Take out the stuffing and add salt, cumin powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder. Mix well and divide into 6 parts.
  4. Roll the dough ball into a thin roti and place one part of stuffing on one side of the roti as shown in the video.
  5. Place the other half of the roti on the stuffing and press it using fingers to seal the sides.
  6. Place the D-shaped roti on tawa and cook on both sides.
  7. Apply oil on both sides and cook until golden brown.
  8. Enjoy with omelette or plain yogurt.
  9. Enjoy!
