Paneer Pizza Toast

Ingredients

  • Bread slices 4
  • Paneer (Cottage Cheese) cut into 1 cm cubes 1/2 cup
  • Chopped Onion 2 tbsp
  • Chopped bell pepper 6 tbsp (I used 2 tbsp each of green, yellow and red, you can use whatever you have in hand)
  • Pizza sauce 2 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise 2 full tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili flakes to taste
  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  • Garlic powder 1/4 tsp
  • Oregano 1/2 tsp
  • Mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, add onion, bell peppers, pizza sauce, mayonnaise, salt, black pepper powder, garlic powder, oregano and red chili flakes. Mix.
  2. Place 4 bread slices and spread 1/2 tsp mozzarella on each of the bread slice just to help the topping stick to the bread.
  3. Now spread the paneer topping on the bread slices in a single layer.
  4. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese, and some chopped bell peppers.
  5. Sprinkle some oregano and chili flakes on top.
  6. OVEN: Bake in the oven (no need to preheat) at 220°C using upper and lower rod for 4-5 minutes or until the cheese had melted.
  7. TAWA: put the slices on tawa on a very low flame and cover with a lid. Let the cheese melt.
  8. ENJOY!
